I'm a bit clueless now. I'd suggest to set masqmails to 5 or 6 and
carefully lock over the log-file. And, of course, verify again that
the wrapper really works.

For reference I'll show what I get:

$:~> openssl s_client -quiet -starttls smtp -connect smtp.gmail.com:25
