Sorry, maybe I was a bit unclear here, but, of course, you need
the wrapper command to use TLS. And gmail requires that.
I'm using the same wrapper command as you have posted in your
original mail. Works with port 587 or 25.
Why do you think that the masqmail is ignoring your auth settings
if you use the wrapper command?
