Hoi,

welcome to masqmail. :-)

Then you probably have version 0.2.21 running. Please check with
`/usr/sbin/masqmail -bV'.

I have never used masqmail's POP3 feature myself, hence I have few
knowledge on it. I also believe masqmail should not concentrate on
mail retrieval tasks, hence I removed it from newer versions (>
0.3.0).

Currently I am on travel and cannot dig into the problem. I recommend
you to use some dedicated tool to retrieve mail. Fetchmail, getmail,
fdm are examples. Mail retrieval is less dependend on changing and
temporary unavailable connections. Probably only log files might get
filled if the Mail Retrieval Agent (MRA) is run from cron. If you
though need to run different retrievals, dependend on the connections,
you can hook into masqmail's online_pipe script.

Maybe someone else can help you further.

I'm very sorry I cannot spend more time on this. (I'll be back in
April.)

P.S.
I'd be happe if you could post your route config (with login data
substituted, of course) to the list as an example of how to interface
gmail. I like to include concrete example configs for popular
providers in future releases.
